A 17-year-old Bridgeport resident was gunned down on Madison Avenue Tuesday night, according to police.
The victim's sister identified him Wednesday as Jeven Setal.
Police say Setal was shot at around 8:30 p.m. near the intersection with Frank Street. He was walking toward a backyard when investigators say multiple people shot him.
His younger sister, Tatyana Setal, says he was a good kid who stayed out of trouble and was fond of riding his bike.
Medical staff pronounced Setal dead at St. Vincent's Medical Center.
A family friend says a funeral will be held next Friday.
