Bridgeport police are investigating two shootings that occurred over the weekend, leaving two victims with gunshot wounds.

The first incident took place late Saturday night inside the lobby of building 5 at the Greene Homes apartment complex. The victim arrived at the hospital with a gunshot wound, prompting an investigation by authorities.

The second shooting occurred just after midnight on Sunday near East Avenue. In this case, the victim transported themselves to the hospital for treatment.

At this time, there is no word on any arrests or potential connections between the two incidents. The investigations are ongoing.
