A Bridgeport police sergeant has been suspended without pay following his arrest on sex assault charges.

A Bridgeport police sergeant has been suspended without pay following his arrest on sex assault charges.
Acting Police Chief Rebeca Garcia says Sgt. Ivan Delgado was charged Friday with three counts of sex assault, as well as three counts of risk of injury to a minor.
Police haven't released any other information about the arrest.
Garcia says an administrative hearing will be held within 10 days as specified in the police union contract.
