Bridgeport Public Schools have announced new changes to the school start and end times in response to community feedback - eliminating the extra 15 minutes that had been added to the school day that started just last week.

Elementary and middle schools will still start at 8:50 a.m. but now end at 3:10 p.m.

High Schools will still begin at 7:53 a.m. with an earlier out at 2:30 p.m.

Fairchild Wheeler Interdistrict Multi-Magnet Campus times will be determined by its administration.

Read School will have staggered start times yet to be announced.

The updated changes go into effect Monday, Sept. 16.
