6h agoA Bridgeport senior told News 12 Connecticut that mold issues in her apartment complex have continued to make made her sick.
Carmen Casado, who lives in the Fireside Apartments, said that the mold issues in her apartment have sent her to the emergency room with health issues and have affected her breathing.
"I'm scared because I don't want to get sick. You know, I have a lot of little grandkids that love me and I want to be around for them," Casado said.
Casado told News 12 Connecticut housing officials offered her an emergency transfer to another apartment at the same location, but that unit also tested positive for mold.
