Bridgeport
schools are targeting a return to in-person learning on April 5.
Superintendent of Schools Michael Testani tells News 12 the goal is for
students to return to schools for four days a week.
Full-time remote
learning will still be an
option for families who prefer it.
The announcement came as the city began vaccinating its teachers.
Around 300 doses of the Moderna coronavirus vaccine were administered to staff members of Bridgeport
public schools at Central High School.
The Bridgeport
Public Schools District is the largest in the state, and the city are working
to vaccinate more than 1,400 workers for the schools’ planned reopening.
There is another vaccine clinic planned next week.
