A Bronx man with no arms and no legs was given handicap accessories for his apartment after months of asking his building?s management company to accommodate him.

Byron Breeze said it was hard for him to get up and down his front steps. In addition, he said his kitchen sink was a little too high for him to reach. Weeks after News 12 The Bronx shared his story, the management company came through with renovations.

Lower doorknobs, a lower peephole and a handicap rail in the bathtub were just some of the renovations completed. Breeze said the changes make life a little easier for him.

Breeze said he is still waiting for a ramp for the outside of his building, but management said that is a difficult job. The building?s superintendent said he thinks Breeze will also be given a lower kitchen sink.
