Bronx DA: Warrant issued for woman accused of attacking children with a belt

A search is underway for a woman accused of attacking two small children in The Bronx.
Police say they received a report about a woman using a belt to strike a 4-year-old and 6-year-old several times near Washington Avenue and East 168th Street. The incident happened on May 7.
The Bronx district attorney says a warrant has been issued for the woman’s arrest. She was not named by officials.
