(AP) - A shooting in Buffalo has claimed the lifeof a Bronx man who had just celebrated his college graduation.
Police say 23-year-old Javon Jackson was shot around 3 a.m.Sunday in the University Heights neighborhood.
He was rushed to the Erie County Medical Center, where he waspronounced dead.
Jackson had just graduated from the University of Buffalo onSaturday, and his parents were in town for the ceremony.
Police believe the gunman may have been with three other menwhen they walked up behind Jackson. One of the men fired at leasttwo shots, hitting him.
