President Bush was in New London Wednesday to deliver the commencement address at the Coast Guard graduation.
The president addressed the 228 cadets, telling them it was a great accomplishment that they had made it this far, but that they are now joining a service that?s job has changed since September 11th. Now, said President Bush, the Coast Guard is on the front lines in the fight against terror.
This is the second largest class to ever graduate from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in New London.
