Stamford police are investigating an accident that caused a car to crash into a house this morning It happened on High Ridge Road before 8 a.m. The car hit the stairs in front of the house.

The car hit the stairs in front of the house.
The driver was taken to the hospital, but it is not known how badly he or she was hurt.
