The Greater Norwalk Literacy Volunteers held a Chinese New Year celebration Sunday afternoon at the Norwalk Public Library.

The event featured traditional Chinese music, dance performances, cultural displays and traditional Chinese foods.

Organizers said it's exciting to not only to celebrate but to share their culture with their community.

This Lunar New Year is the Year of the Dragon, which is consider a symbol of power, nobility and good luck in Chinese culture.
