Community effort in Oxford helps first responders, others impacted by deadly flooding

First responders and other Connecticut residents impacted by flooding came together in Oxford Thursday to receive free food, and a wide array of other assistance at an event organized by the commercial construction company Haynes Group, Inc. Quarry Walk in Oxford , a small community, hosted the event, but organizers say they could not have done any of it without support from the community. The event featured live music and drew people from across the region.
Rebuild Expo is providing services to flood victims on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Quarry Walk in Oxford.
