Unilever is voluntarily recalling certain Ben & Jerry’s ice cream flavors because they may contain tree nuts not mentioned in the ingredient list.
Ben & Jerry’s Coconut Seven Layer Bar bulk and Ben & Jerry’s Chunky Monkey pints are listed in the voluntary recall.
The flavors may contain tree nuts including almonds, Brazil nuts, and hazelnuts that are not listed in the ingredient or allergy information list.
People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to the undeclared tree nuts are at risk.
The pints were distributed nationwide.
The company says they haven't received any reports of illnesses.
