Connecticut flags to return to full staff at sunset; were lowered for Trooper Pelletier

Gov. Ned Lamont (D) has announced that all U.S. and state flags across Connecticut will return to full staff at sunset this evening.

The flags have been lowered statewide since last week in remembrance of Trooper First Class Aaron Pelletier.

Lamont stated, "Trooper Pelletier served Connecticut with honor, integrity, and commitment, and he embodies the definition of public service. His courage and bravery will never be forgotten."
