Connecticut state police say they've given out 406 citations since Thursday night as the Memorial Day holiday weekend got underway.
They say there have also been 73 accidents, but none of them were fatal. Police have arrested 14 drivers for driving under the influence.
They have also given out 21 citations for not wearing a seatbelt.
