Federal investigators are looking into what caused a 10-pound piece of metal to fall about 25 stories at a construction site.
The accident occurred Wednesday morning at the Trump Parc site in downtown Stamford at the corner of Washington and Broad streets.
Stamford police say several metal pieces fell from the construction site, one of which injured a local delivery man. He suffered minor injuries and was later released from Stamford Hospital.
While there was a safety net that caught most of the debris, the 10-pound piece of metal either fell through or missed the net.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is leading an investigation into the incident.
