A brother and sister from Darien are facing assault charges for two separate incidents.
Police say a 45-year-old man threw his sister's friend down a flight of stairs at a home on Edgerton Street Friday night.
After the first assault, police say they were called back to the same house when the sister punched her 66-year-old mother in the head and threatened their disabled brother.
