A diesel spill forced officials to shut down part of Greenwich Avenue in Stamford today.
Officials were on scene under the railroad bridge near Pulaski Street, police wrote in a Tweet.
Traffic was diverted away from the scene of the spill, and there was heavy traffic due to vehicles coming off of I-95.
The state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection was on scene, but officials could not determine where the spill originated from.
