Hundreds of Bronx students in District 9 headed to Yankee Stadium on Thursday for an important cause.
More than 400 students from four schools participated in the District 9 Kids Care Walk.
One school had to walk about 2.5 miles to the stadium and then back.
The event, which is in its second year, was hosted by the nonprofit organization Lauren's Kids, which aims to prevent child sex abuse and help survivors.
Organizers say the goal is to get all schools within District 9 to participate in the event.
