The extensions the Department of Motor Vehicles handed out due to a computer upgrade are about to expire.
The DMV granted extensions for license renewals and car registrations.
Those extensions come to an end next week and the late fines kick in on Oct. 14.
As a reminder, the DMV offices will be closed this Saturday for the Columbus Day holiday. The offices are also closed on Monday.
