An Easton man was killed after colliding head on with a FedEx van on Route 25, State Police say.

Shahid Malik, 61, of Easton, was killed during the crash Wednesday.

Police say Malik was driving the wrong way when his car collided with a van head on in the southbound lane of Route 25 and the 111 intersection in Trumbull near the Monroe town line.

The driver of the truck sustained minor injuries and was transported to Saint Vincent's Hospital.

Malik was pronounced dead at the scene.
