An Easton school says it has identified the person responsible for drawing swastikas in chalk on a playground.
As News 12 has reported, the symbols were discovered written at Staples Elementary School Thursday morning.
The town's police chief says the school resource officer and staff worked together to eventually identify the person responsible.
The chief did not say if that person is connected to the school or if an arrest was made, adding the superintendent's office and the school are taking the lead on the follow-up investigation.
He did say his department filed a "hate and bias form" with state officials.
