An effort is underway to keep the extra tables that popped up outside at restaurants across Connecticut during the pandemic beyond their April expiration date.
As of now, Gov. Ned Lamont's restaurant order only goes to mid-April.
Rep. David Rutigliano has introduced a bill to continue expanded outdoor dining through the summer or maybe next summer.
Outdoor dining offers an option for those who are more comfortable being outside rather than indoors.
