People in southwestern Connecticut will pay less for electricity next year.Connecticut Light and Power says the average customer could see a 7.5 percent decrease, which averages to about $9.
This is the lowest rate since 2005 and stems from falling natural gas prices.
United Illuminating customers will see an 8.5 percent drop in their bills.
