Former congressional candidate Lisa Wilson-Foley was sentenced Tuesday to five months in prison for her role in a campaign finance scandal.
Wilson-Foley and her husband pleaded guilty last year to conspiring to hide $35,000 that they paid former Gov. John Rowland for campaign advice. She had asked for probation; federal prosecutors had sought a 10-month prison term.
Rowland was sentenced last week to 30 months in prison.
