The former Norwalk police lieutenant in the middle of an alleged sex scandal pleaded not guilty during his arraignment Friday.
Lt. Thomas Cummings, 46, is accused of engaging in sexual acts with two underage boys and trying to seduce a third.
Cummings was in the Norwalk Police Department for 24 years and used to be the head of the detective bureau. He resigned on Feb. 1, shortly after being charged for enticing a minor and first-degree sexual assault.
Cummings faces up to 115 years in prison if convicted. He is due back in court April 4.
