Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, lower Fairfield County is seeing a boom in real estate, realtors say.
Tyler Cox, the owner of Shelby’s Realty Services in Norwalk, says houses are selling for over the asking price, with bidding wars in some cases.
He says he believes the push to move to the suburbs will last longer than some people think.
Cox's advice for people in the market is to not buy a starter home. He says the buyer would have to ride out a period of high interest, which might bring prices down.
