Two elementary schools in Fairfield will go to all-distance learning today after positive COVID-19 cases in their buildings.
The school district canceled the "PM cohort" at Holland Hill Elementary after learning of the positive cases.
Officials say the person who contracted the virus hasn't been in the building since Monday.
Riverfield Elementary has switched to distance learning after one person at the school also tested positive.
The district's dashboard shows three staff members and three students systemwide are currently being treated for the virus.
