Fairfield police are hunting for a man who robbed a hotel with a knife.
It happened around 9:30 p.m. Saturday at the Best Western on Kings Highway Cutoff.
They say the man pulled out a knife and jumped over the counter, took the money and ran off.
He is described as a dark-skinned black man, about 25 to 30 years old, around 5'5" with a thin build. Police say he was wearing a gray wool hat, hooded sweatshirt and blue pants with stripes on the side.
