The family of a Bridgeport mother of four who was killed in a three-car accident visited the site Friday.
Prudence Soleck, of Bridgeport, died Thursday when her car was rear-ended at the intersection of Broadbrige Avenue and Canaan Road as she drove her 33-year-old son, Matthew, to work.
"I feel like I'm in a dream and I'm going to wake up and she'll be by my side," says Sara Soleck, Prudence Soleck's daughter.
The family says Prudence Soleck died at the scene, and Matthew Soleck is in the hospital with a torn spleen and head injuries. The other two drivers involved in the crash have non-life threatening injuries, including 19-year-old Alexandra Brown, of Redding, who was driving the car that rear-ended the Solecks, according to police.
Police say they haven't filed charges, but the investigation continues.
