4h agoFlames erupted out of a home in Stamford Friday evening.
It happened around 7 p.m. on Pershing Avenue in Stamford. When firefighters arrived at the scene, they discovered flames rapidly spreading from an attached garage at the residence.
They were able to get the fire under control within 20 minutes, containing the fire to the garage and attic areas.
One resident was taken to Stamford Hospital for minor injuries. No firefighters were injured.
