Firefighters battled a wild brush fire for several hours in Weston Tuesday.
According to fire officials, the fire started in home that was under construction. Officials say the home off of Smith Ridge Road burned down completely as firefighters battled the blaze.
High winds carried burning embers into nearby woods, which started several brush fires. Firefighters were eventually able to put the fire out, though several hot spots had to be continually doused afterward.
A worker burning boxes at the home has been arrested for starting the fire. To watch Chopper 12 footage of the Weston brush fire, go to channel 612 on your iO digital cable box and select iO Extra.
