One week after the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, first responders say they're mourning and coping along with victims' families and the town's residents.

Gary MacNamara, Fairfield's police chief who was at the scene last week, says counseling is necessary for everyone involved, including first responders.

MacNamara says his officers are coping by helping Newtown and the shooting survivors recover.
