Stamford officials said today a long-time administrator with numerous ties to southwestern Connecticut will lead the city's school district temporarily.
Officials say the full Board Of Education is expected to approve James Connelly as interim superintendent at their next meeting Tuesday night.
Connelly was superintendent in Bridgeport for 18 years before retiring 15 years ago.

Since then he has served as interim superintendent in eight different school districts.
