Friends gathered Thursday night to remember a Stamford man who authorities say died after a police-involved shooting and standoff with officers earlier this week.
Investigators say Dylan Pape, 25, was shot and killed by two officers after they were called to his home on Wedgemere Road for a disturbance Monday night.
The state medical examiner ruled the cause of a death a suicide, saying that Pape goaded the officers into shooting him.
On Wednesday, Stamford police confirmed that Pape was holding an authentic-looking fake gun when he was shot.
State police on Thursday said there were no additional updates on their investigation.
