A funeral will be held Friday for a teen killed in a stabbing at a Shelton party.
Police say James McGrath, 17, died after he was stabbed outside a home on Laurel Glen Drive in Shelton just before midnight Saturday.
The funeral will be held at Abriola Parkview Funeral Home Friday, according to the funeral home's website.
A walk-through visitation will take place on Thursday at the Egan Chapel of Saint Ignatius of Loyola at Fairfield university from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Theresa Church, in Trumbull on Friday at 11:00 a.m.
Police say 50 to 75 teenagers from several area high schools were at a party at the home when a fight broke out.
McGrath was fatally stabbed, and three others were injured, police say.
A private prayer service was held for McGrath at Fairfield Prep where he was a student.
The school says he will forever be a member of the Prep brotherhood.
