The Mid-Fairfield AIDS Project has brought back an old fundraiser.

The nonprofit group hosted "Gay Bingo" for the first time in four years. It was an event with dancing and singing to go along with the classic game of bingo.

Despite the name, the night's slogan was, "You don't have to be gay to play."

The project says all $4,500 made at their first bingo night goes toward serving clients.

The MFAP provides testing, counseling and housing services for people living with HIV and AIDS.

Their next bingo night is scheduled for May 7.
