Bridgeport police are investigating after a 35-year-old man was shot in the hip.
It happened Sunday near Stratford Avenue and Fourth Street.
Police say they found the victim, Gerard Davis, with a gunshot wound.
They say Davis claims he was going to his car when he heard the shot.
However, a witness says Davis was involved in a scuffle at the time.
