Republican contender for governor Bob Stefanowski is going to court in the hopes of being listed twice on the ballot this November.
Stefanowski is suing the state's Independent Party.
He says party leaders violated tie-break rules after the vote that ended with him losing their endorsement.
The endorsement's significant because Gov. Ned Lamont will be listed twice, under Democrat and the Working Families party.
