Gov. Ned Lamont said Sunday that for the second straight day, the number of people hospitalized in Connecticut due to complications caused by COVID-19 has slightly decreased. 
Lamont said the crisis is not over yet, and and that another 41 Connecticut residents died Sunday. 
The governor said the statewide total of COVID-19 associated deaths now stands at 1,127
Lamont said the statewide total of laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 is 17,962 as of Sunday, up 412.
Fairfield County remains the hardest hit with more than 7,400 cases.
