The Great Westport Pizza Contest has named its winners determined after nearly 2,000 votes.

"It was a fun event, so many people told me they went to eat pizza and voted," said Matthew Mandell, executive director of the Chamber of Commerce. "I personally ate pizza at every one of the restaurants and loved it all."

The Winners are:

Best Slice - Outpost Pizza
Best Meat Pizza – Old Mill Grocery & Deli
Best Veggie Pizza – Old Mill Grocery & Deli
Best Personal Pizza – Romanacci
Beat Flatbread Pizza – La Plage
Best Delivered Pizza – Outpost Pizza
Best Gluten-Free Pizza – Romanacci

Next March will be the return of The Great Westport Burger Contest.
