The Greenwich Healthmart closed its doors for the last time Thursday evening after 45 years of servicing the community.
Chuck and Carole Ringel owned the store for the past 28 years. They announced last month that they planned to retire.
"We just want to thank all our friends and neighbors in Greenwich for supporting us for all these years, making us a very successful business...Making not only our business possible, but our retirement possible," said Chuck Ringel.
The Greenwich Healthmart was open until 7:30 p.m. yesterday for anyone looking to pick up some last-minute sale items and bid the Ringels farewell.
