A hockey player from Greenwich netted one of his young fans a new puppy this week.
A girl attending a Columbus Blue Jackets hockey game showed a sign that stated if Cam Atkinson scored that night she would receive a puppy for her birthday.
Atkinson, who started by skating at the Greenwich Skating Club, did even better by scoring a hat trick that night against the Montreal Canadians.
Despite the three goals, the girl only is getting one puppy.
