The Greenwich Police Department partnered with Neighbor to Neighbor to hold a community food drive Saturday.
Volunteers from the Greenwich Community Emergency Response team unloaded bags of groceries from donors in their cars who are looking to eliminate food insecurity.
Masks were also made available to businesses in need of some PPE to hold them over.
Volunteers say the community support was overwhelming and a vast majority of people went shopping to get brand new food to donate.
People who cannot donate food today can drop it off at the Neighbor to Neighbor location in Greenwich.
