A group that vacationed in Los Cabos, Mexico are worried about two friends who were still down there when Hurricane Odile devastated the area.
The group went down to celebrate Norwalk resident Karen Ham's 50th birthday. Most of them returned Sunday, 12 hours before the storm hit.
Ham and one of the other friends stayed a few extra days and are now stranded, like tens of thousands of other tourists. Most have no power or running water, and in many cases, limited communication.
The friends say the two who are still down there were staying at their resort, which was largely undamaged and had a generator and some food.
At last check, the two friends left their resort for the Los Cabos Airport, but it is unclear when they will be evacuated.
