One group is working to better the relationship between police and the community.
Community Peace Patrol Officers started with the purpose of bridging law enforcement with community and helping those in need.
The group was at City Hall Monday to thank Police Commissioner Bill Bratton for his support.
They say they hope their leadership will have a big impact on youth and decrease negative interactions with police officers.
