Hats Off to Roses returns to Stratford with garden fundraiser

Preparations are underway for this weekend's "Hats Off to Roses" event at Boothe Memorial Park & Museum.
The annual celebration highlights the park's rose gardens and will feature wine, appetizers, and community gathering.
Presale tickets are $15 per person, or $20 at the door. All proceeds will go toward maintaining the park's gardens.
"It's wonderful to know that people appreciate it that much," said organizer and volunteer Frank Kecko. "They can come and find quiet and sort of get their minds together and go out and do it again."
The event runs Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m.
