Stamford residents will have to wait to weigh in on a proposed Chick-fil-A that has been met by mixed reviews in the community.
A meeting that was scheduled for Monday night has once again been rescheduled because officials said they were not ready to move forward with the issue yet.
If approved, the fast food restaurant would replace a vacant Bank of America on High Ridge Road.
Many that oppose the plan say the area is too busy for the restaurant.
The debate has already lasted a few months, with dozens attending zoning board meetings to make their voices heard.
The Dunkin' Donuts on Long Ridge Road is the only other drive-thru in the immediate area.
Chick-fil-A has said they're going to take a look at the public's comments and revise their application for future hearings.
The meeting has been rescheduled for July 30.
