Connecticut saw more hazy, hot, and humid weather again today with the chance of a late-day rain shower.
The National Weather Service issued a heat advisory for Fairfield, southern Litchfield and northern New Haven counties, with temperatures in the 90s that feel more like 100 degrees.
Officials warn that hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses to occur in some people. The heat advisory is in effect until 8 p.m. Tuesday.
News 12 meteorologists say there may be a few scattered showers, but that most Connecticut residents will likely not see rain.
The rest of the week should see temperatures down into the 80s.
